UPDATE: The soundclick site is NOW online, check http://www.soundclick.com/livewirerecords for music from us.

Any links will be added to that site.

The Idea
The idea is to throw on a kind of navigation overview of all LiveWire members busy with music. To help one another and for collaberation purposes.

Any artist feeling something for it, please reply with what instruments you play, if you sing or not.. basically anything music related.

Searching an artist
For people searching, the blue things are instruments. The red things are relevant to vocals (singing, writing) and the green things are for mixing, producing and just mastering stuff.

LiveWire is about peer support... How about we help each other?

For artist willing to get added
I'll add you to the list with a link to the membername after you post in the topic.

And if anybody has a musicsite, please post it, I'll edit it with it.

For applying, please use this form for the sake of aiding people... use n/a if it's not applicable.

The form

Soundclick aid
I'm going to make a soundclick page for this. If any artist wants to put 2 songs max to showcase their skills, please send me a link on where to find the songs. I'll upload to them to soundclick, making it streamable for everybody and all at the same volume. This is just for the listeners preferences.

Soundclick links will come somewhere next week.

How would you determine how good these people are, or how knowledgeable they are? I bet I could stump MOST of these people, in which case, if someone did ask them for help, the responses will hardly be worth anyone's time.

No, you only THINK you're good. You're an arrogant asshole, doesn't make you any better at guitar than the rest of us.

You have a major attitude problem. It's pretty annoying, dumbfuck. Tone it down. Arrogant or otherwise, I still have a good point. Listing "guitar", or "bass" or "drums" doesn't really indicate your knowledgeability on the subject. If someone asked me about classical guitar, and finger picking, I'd be stumped as well, even though I'm quite proficient with electric guitar.

STFU, loser.

I've kind of restructed it...

Why not just let people create topics as they wish, and if someone IS able to help, they can. Anywhoo, livewire isn't really the best place to ask about music. There are actually forums dedicated for music itself, and the questions are usually answered by people with 30+ years experience.

That's a lot better than some random idiot that just picked up the guitar 2 years ago, and plays casually.

man, just calm down. he's just trying to organize the whole thing, big freakin deal. I've been playing guitar for 3 years...so what? Does that mean i suck? No, actually i've performed MANY gigs downtown and at my school and i have a natural talent in music. Just because someone's been playing for a longer time dosent mean they are better/more knowledgeable on the subject. You need to shut the fuck up, if you have a problem with this then just ignore this topic...no one is making you comment!

Right. You've been playing for 3 years and haven't progressed passed the beatles. Shut the hell up. This topic would never work, and there's no point in stickying this crap.

AC just give it up. If you don't like the post don't bitch about it. Half the posts on LiveWire aren't efficient for what they are made for. At least this is a better idea than a lot.
