Then uninstall it, or perhaps find an area where you can allow and block certain sites. I'm not sure if it has this, but many anti-virus programs do. I know that mcAfee has a permanent allow feature.

If you cannot work this out, just take it off. Sounds like it's a real pain in the ass; go to add or remove programs and uninstall. Get a new one if you do this so you can keep your computer protected, though. Most are not this bad.
