I think, if a baby's not gonna have a good life from day one then why bring it in to the world?

Of all the arguments for abortion, this is the weakest.

If we follow your logic, it means that we should get rid of all children in foster homes, because they're unlikely to have a good life. It means that all children in third-world countries should be eliminated, because they most likely won't have good lives.

Really, that's one abortion argument whose logic fails completely.

Not all kids in foster homes Have had to deal with bad parents from when they were born. And I'm not talking about everyone one who feels like they can't do it more like the people who know they can't, and that they can't give it away for adoption either. I don't think you see what i mean.

As an example would you rather have a woman who was a drug addict then could get over it because she didn't have a child to support, or a woman who had a baby and one or both ended up ill and malnourished because the mother was incapable.

Again, your argument could be applied to a woman with a one year-old child as well.

Why not get rid of the toddler so it and the mother won't end up even more ill or malnourished?
