so... I went to visit my friend today at her job (she works as a bylaw officer, based out of the local pound) and made the mistake of going back to look at the dogs. There were only 2 in and one was guaranteed a spot at the no-kill shelter, but it was the other guys' last day before being euthanized... so he came home with me lol. I already have one dog, a 7 year old Australian Shepherd named Marlin who goes EVERYWHERE with me, he's my baby. Now I guess he's got a brother lol.
Anyway I really don't know a thing about him, he's a (currently) un-neutered male who was found in "the village", which is like... the rough part of our town. He's really skinny (though you can't tell from the pics, these were taken AFTER a bath and a couple hours of brushing lol, so he's pretty fluffy) and is a TOTAL sweetheart with the most intense eyes ever. He's not very old, definitely less than a year and I'd guess closer to 8 months or so?
He really needs a name, "brown dog" just isn't gonna cut it any longer lol.
"Marlin" is named after a gun, a .22 Marlin Papoose... so maybe a gun name? (we already have a horse named Remington though). I was thinking maybe Magnum, but I don't know if I want two "M" names. Was also considering something like Cash ... or my whole life I've joked about naming a dog "D.O.G." ... pronounced "Deogi". heh.
