Suicide is legal in the UK and has never been punished as a crime in the US, most states have repealed any laws that make suicide a illegal as well.

No on the grounds that there are suicidal people who at the time wish to die, but, later on and recovered, regret feeling like that and would rather live in the end.

then killing yourself because you've had a bad day would be acceptable? i know I've felt suicidal on some days then absolutely fine the next, and if the government *allowed* us to kill ourselves if we wanted to, we could be looking at a mass population wipeout.

There'd be a lot of paperwork and a 2 month period for you to decide. You'd need to get confronted with death over and over again.

suicide isn't a crime in the U.S or the U.K.
