Having a daughter means you not only have to look out for your best interests, but hers. If she has become attached to this guy, then I'd say it's a pretty good thing should you want to date the guy.

i have a daughter. shes my world and all but ya see... i havent had a boyfriend, or any type of relationship since her father left, almost 3 years ago, now. i take classes online for college, and every so often i have to go to the school to take an exam or what have you, but theres this boy i met, hes a really sweet guy, hes only met my daughter once but they got close pretty quick.. which in a way scares me, i do like him. and im afraid that if we date, and something were to happen and we break up.. my daughter may.. resent me for it? any help?
