so me and my "ex" have been like really close friends for a while now. (even though he is an ass to me sometimes, ive kept the friendship) and while ive been away at school, he was telling me things like how he cant wait to see me over the summer, how its gonna be me and him (not in a couple type of way, but i must admit we arent completely platonic either). now he has a girlfriend who has all the qualities of what he has repeatedly said he didnt want to date. first off i hate liars and hypocrisy to begin with so that pissed me off. second, she is ugly as hell.
but the problem i am dealing with is that now it seems like the summer i imagined is not gonna come through. especially since it feels like i am being dropped from his friendship... (as if he cant have me as a friend when he has a girlfriend wtf)
but i keep checking their myspaces and facebooks as if i am obsessed with him and their relationship. and ive even had ideas of breaking them up.
is there something mentally wrong with me for being annoyed/pissed off at this?
