Honestly, you should just lie to her. Say you can't be in a relationship right now, or you are in a relationship right now. Or just tell her that you can't see yourself being with her.

I think that it's kind of crappy you don't wanna be with her b/c of that. Unless her background is messing with you [literally, like it can hurt you or something] I think you should talk to her about it straight up and then see how it goes.

HOnestly- to me its one of those lying situations.. tell her some lie and MAKE SURE TO NOT TELL YOUR FRIENDS ULL LIE TO HER.. because if you are honest with her- shell probably get offended and tell people what an insensitive jerk you are or soemthing

but if she isn't like that then what's the problem, you aren't dating her friends or parents, it just you and her.

In all honesty if that is keeping you from dating her then simply explain to her that she is a great girl, and would be a great girl friend but right now you are not looking or in hurry. Or you feel things would not work out between you both, and you'd like to remain friends.

but if she isn't like that then what's the problem, you aren't dating her friends or parents, it just you and her.
They might not be her, but they have a big influence on her life.
well if she starts getting into it then break up with her but you're keeping away from her for the wrong reasons. it obviously isn't affecting her enough to make you not like her so it should be fine, just give it a try.

If you are going to date her parents, friends and others in her neighborhood then I would be concerned about it. If not then I would judge her totally separate from all of this. If she has no control of it then you must not hold her responsible for it. Judge her individually. If you cannot see this then you may not be worthy of her.
