I just let my kitten back inside and when I picked her up she screamed. So I put her on my bed and I left her alone for a while. I went back to check on her, pushed a little on her ribs and they are fine (no broken ribs) but when I push on her lower tummy she screams, and she is having trouble laying down. It's almost like a knot or a mass in her lower belly.

The vet isn't open so we can't call. And she is fixed so she isn't preggers or anything. Any ideas?

awwww call the vet asap. i just had to put my cat down becuase he had a bad infection and was pissing blood. i dont want that to happen to your cat. i really hope he/she is ok

I would call a vet, or find one since yours isn't open.

Sometimes when cats eat string, it gets tangled up in their intestines and causes some pain. It could also rip through her intestines.. hence the severity of the situation.

Is there an emergency vet you could call or a different vet in the area? If there's a mass in her stomach that's something you should get checked as soon as you can.
