Fear of people

I live in constant fear of people, in one way or another. I have an extremely negative outlook on people, society, and the government, and have only personal experience to reinforce my pessimistic views...I do not believe that I am being paranoid. I, along with many others, have been through some pretty trying times. I have been let down by people so many times, but and although I do not have much faith in others, but I feel that I can depend on myself, so I feel ok. But I always expect the worst in people and take offence to people and people misunderstand my point sometimes and disapprove of what I say. I can be an eloquent writer if I put a lot of time into it, but in social situations I have trouble forming a coherent thought. I don't know what I need, a better shield or some strategic device to counter-manipulate everyone.

If anyone has the answer, please share with those of us who are stuck in such a rut.

Your writing makes me laugh.
But as for what you said, I'm not sure it could be a number of things that make you feel that way. Right now all I can say is pick out people you trust and put your faith into them. If they turn around on you then just leave them and find a person whom you can truly trust. And as for other people you aren't sure about, give them a chance. Not everybody is bad. Some people are and you will find that out sometimes the hard way, but that is life.

wow depressed much?  umm anyway...everyone betrays eachother cuz WE R HUMAN!!!!!  but that does not mean we r not sorry for out actions...just live with it....get over it....i had plenty of people betray me in the worst way possible!  that does not mean i gave up on people in general!  Just live and be yourself...and if that does not work...put on a face and hide your emotions
