okay, so i ran out of pads is it ok to just keep using tampons and change them often?

Its fine to use only tampons, just don't leave them in for more that 7 hours or so, or you can risk getting TSS.

Why wouldn't it be ok to use tampons?! Heaps of people don't ever use pads.

I would say 6 hours, not 7 :)
