Alright, I have had this huge crush on this one girl for awhile now. We are both seniors in High School and are graduating soon, never talked much until this year, and its still not a lot. Anyway, she has a boyfriend and her friend told me she "loves him" and another friend said they really like each other etc. So today I asked for her number after school, she smiled and said "for what?" not in mean way but more in a joking way. Then I made a mistake and said "nothing immediate", she asked why again then I made up BS and said I need it for something involving a mutual friend of ours. She said, "then you should get it from (his name" and walked away. Now, she already KNEW that I really liked her so she knew what I was getting at.
Was this a bad choice and would any girl in her spot (with a long time bf she "really likes") give out her number to a guy who she knows only wants it because he has had a huge crush on her?
