I was just watching the first season of Gilmore Girls and was thinking how many girls like Rory there were. I mean, it's pretty obvious that Rory is gorgeous and fun, but she's so self-conscious and convinced that no guy would like her because she's not really like the typical flirty girl.

Rory's kind of my ideal girl, and I think I have a tendency to fall for her type. Of course, it's tough sometimes because I can't tell if these girls are genuinely shy or just not into me. Anyway, I was just wondering how common it is for really cute girls with great personalities to think themselves absolute Plain Janes and instinctively withdraw from any guy that shows some kind of interest.

She has no personality, is ugly as fuck. I hate how they make her out to having sex all the time and all these guys want her, when in real life a girl like that wouldn't be a virgin...ick.
