People don't control who they like. They may set up a criteria in their mind that doesnt match reality. Besides that, a lot of people just dont think things through so if y0ou see them caught in their own contradictions, they may not even realize it.

wtf, she had a crush on me for 3 weeks and finally i asked her out and she even told me that i was the least "wuss" out of any guy shes ever met....and yet she STILL likes the other kid. maybe she thinks i have too many other girls i hang out with? wtf does she need me to do to show that i like her?
