Hey. It's normal to feel like that. The uncertinty of the future is overwelming once you start to analyze it.
Who wouldn't like to have a magic ball that tell us what's going to happen? Who wouldn't like to have the power to see the future? - Sadly life doesn't work like that. We need to accept that the present is the only thing that's certain. Take it day by day and enjoy the life you have because nobody knows what could happen tomorrow.
Life is constantly changing and all of those big changes are important for us because we learn to appreciate what we have. Learn from the past and move on. Don't let the past become your future.
Life is like a rollercoaster that never stops. You can scream the whole ride and enjoy it or moan about it waiting for the end. What are you going to choose?
Spend as much time as possible with your friends now. Try to not get out of touch and talk to each other once in a while. Things are not going to be the same but they don't need to change completly. You don't need to loose your friendship because things are drastically changing. The good friendships always stay with you, doesn't matter how much time goes by.
You'll gain lot's of new experiences once you go to the millitary. It's your turn to make your own path and grow up. Be your own person and get out fo the safety zone we have when we are tenagers. ENJOY THE RIDE, EXPLORE THE WORLD, MEET NEW PEOPL! Make your life what you want your life to be.
It's okay to fear the unknown but don't let it control you. Use that fear to get the strenght to keep going.
Good Luck.
