but might need one anyway. When we are sick we don't hesitate to tell everyone, "I've got strep, gotta go to the doctor." But why can't we show our minds the same respect and go to the psychiatrist when we are sick? Some people harbor mental complexes, issues, illnesses, just like infections. They would have gone to a doctor if their was an infection in their leg but they never see a pyschiatrist when they notice a little something fearful, hurt, out of the norm in their mind. And the mental illness, unlike the infected leg is allowed to fester, untreated in the way the leg is not. And who decided that minds are less important than legs?
