And I'm saying that they aren't just wanna be's.  Some are, but most are not.  It's not usually possible to tell over the internet.  What's major for one person may be minor for another.

The ER info is from A Bright Red Scream: Self-Mutilation and the Language of Pain by Marilee Strong (hense, the source information in my last post.)  I believe she cited it from somewhere else (a survey sent to hospital rooms, but I don't recall the specifics), but I don't recall where.  Next time I find it somewhere, I'll tell you, otherwise feel free to look it up yourself.
