So I've been eating healthy for the past 2 weeks. (Exception was yesterday). I was 121 lbs (but my scale says 123). So I went down to 114 in a week. Then (yesterday) ate unhealthy so now I'm 115. The only exercise I get is tennis (for 2-2.5 hrs) after school. I'm 5'5.  This normal?

You shouldn't of dropped that much weight that quickly.

Agree. But it sounds like it may your scales' fault. Are you using the same scale?

I don't know if you should have lost that much. I was eating healthy and working out at least four or fives times a week for no less than 2 1/2 hours and I lost 9 pounds in one month.

Well, I just got a new one. But I'm eating off that weight watchers thing and they say you're "supposed" to lose like 5 lbs the first week. But I'm not sure.

That gives you a BMI of 19.1 which is just about healthy. If you lose any more weight you will probably end up underweight. I would recommend that you stop trying to lose weight, and just try to eat healthy and exercise instead.

Going down from 121lbs to 114lbs in a week is very quick, and probably not very healthy. However when you are younger weight supposedly does come off a lot easier than when you age. Weight fluctuations are perfectly normal (my weight varies by about 3/4 pounds frequently) so don't worry about them.

yeh but BIM is basicaly a load of rubbish.
e.g. the BMI of body builders is off the scale but its not because of fat its because of the amount of muscle - theyre still healthy
and according to my heaigh n what not my BMI is too low. yet according to my doctor im a prefectly ok weight and im very healthy

so anyway back to the question lol
one of my friends did the weightwatcher diet and she lost 4.5lbs in the first week
so in my opinion it sounds ok

Yes, the BMI scale has its failings. That does not mean it is healthy to have a low BMI. It is better to be slightly OVERweight and healthy than to be underweight and healthy (according to a piece of research I read in a paper a while ago).
