I think it's a great idea and necessary as it is a "peer-to-peer" website. What's wrong with referring some friends to this website? I mean, I have referred several friends as I think it is an excellent website. I mean, c'mon! It's a great website and we shouldn't hide our finding from our friends or people we know. If the Wright Brothers hid thier great finding of flying, we wouldn't be flying as soon as we were. Or if Einstein hid his finding of "E=MC2" (that's a square, not a 2 btw)... well, you get the point.

Hmmm I don't really get the whole point of this. The checklist isn't mandatory is it??? Because I thought it was just to show you what you had been doing on the site.. Is there something you don't get if you don't complete it?

David we all love you, but you are like the nerdy kid in the front of the class, of coarse we are going to pick on every little thing you do.

Why I deemed it absolutely vital to ask everyone to refer friends Because you guys don't do it without encouragement. The advertising manager knows, he's seen the numbers, new membership has been declining since February. We have a wonderful thing going here, but you can't place the entire burden of finding new members on me all the time. We must continue to replace members who leave or become inactive to maintain the current level of activity that you are accustomed to on LiveWire. Furthermore, I feel that having more members online at a time creates a better atmosphere. I am inspired when I sign in and see many new topics appearing in Fresh Topics, when I see forums bustling with activity, and the active members list above 200! However, when I sign-in during low-key hours around 3am and see 47 members online my topics don't get replies and I feel a lack of energy on the site that makes me want to sign-out. If those are selfish reasons for trying to get you guys pumped about referring LiveWire to friends then continue sending me your hate mail.
Hey that's not very thoughtful! Some of us don't even have any friends, you scoundrel
David Hates America and Democracy "You didn't let us vote on whether we wanted this change! Get out of the country you democracy hating whore!" LiveWire isn't actually a democracy, so sorry to burst your beautiful ideals. Voting for new features isn't a tradition on LiveWire. There have been a few votes for changes that didn't go over well, but in general I think getting every change approved by the majority of whoever was online at the time would really be the pits for development on LiveWire. I would never be able to surprise you, and then I would have to spend 20% of my time writing proposals and campaigning for changes instead of working on them.
Of course it is not, it is a Socialist Republic, don't you see? The government (Davjs) owns all organizations (all of LiveWire) and makes all laws(rules). Of course we cannot protest, we will get shot! (banned) Nevertheless, our government is the one that distributes wealth (points) and labor (ranks, groups etc.) and all the people (we) relies on him to keep our home (The Forum) safe and good to use. So instead of bashing the government (davjs), be a little thankful! (the thing's a joke, don't critisize. Otherwise, if do, in a constructive manner please)
