They say practice makes perfect. I wish they would make up their minds.

Um, agnostic. I don't see how we can follow something where the only evidence is dug up from our hearts, or by some "facts" that turn out to be completely false or coincidental. It doesn't make sense. But I don't omit the possibility of the existence of a higher power, just because you can never be too sure about these things.

i don;t believe in god
there are many facts to prove god doesn't exist
example: theory of evolution
if you thoroughly read the bible you'd realize that god was demanding some incredible things besides the ten commandments
god wants us to live in fear of him
if god existed why doesn't he kill the devil?
or heal amputees?
why didn't Jesus heal all blind men instead of just one?
questions questions questions
but so many answered by science

but just because i don't believe in god (i am only speaking about Christianity and Catholicism because those are the only religions i am familiar with) doesn't mean i don't believe in a higher power

science proves we evolved and that we are made entirely out of atoms
well if atoms compose everything

then what made the atoms?

there are still unexplained phenomenons in our world and i use a higher power as a way to explain it, and quite possibly as a way for comfort.

religion prevents people from fearing the unknown by convincing them that the unknown is not unknown.

Agnostic, so I don't know, I suppose.

But the type of higher power I would find it easy to believe in would exist as an impersonal, "glue", spirit, or "encaser" of the universes that exist beyonds the boundaries of time and space. This "God" really wouldn't care about the affairs of humans if it was concious at all.

This is an honest answer based on the evidence.

then god must prevent people from all deseases. after that prevent people from being murderd. after that prevent people from being raped, or harmed in any way by other people. after that we must go further. crying children. hurt people. why? god must heal them. and the end you dont have a life anymore. life would be like watching a movie - without a change to get harmed. you could jump out of the window - god would prevent you from harm....you know what? i dont wanna have a god like this. i like my life. its dangerous sometimes, it stinks, it hurts, but sometimes its like heaven. i think god - even if we break his heard - decided to let us live. with all good and bad sides.

I personally believe that if there is something out there watching us, they are smart enough to stay from our self destructive society.

i believe in God but not the one that everyone claims to know so much about. Its like there so much that we don't know about God that those that do believe make themselves look like total douches when they try to debate. I believe in YHVH, or I AM. The being whose mystery and simplicity baffles us. The are other details of what i believe but that is for another topic. If someone is interested we can have a Q&A session, i wouldn't mind.
