I couldn't agree more. Why would anybody have to belive that someone in the clouds has made the entire world because there is no better explonation! i look on the religion as a group nice fairytales. That's all nice, that the god will help us, but lets face the reality. Life is not a fairytale.

It's called Faith. It provides a sense of comfort.

It's not hurting you whether someone believes in a head in the clouds or the apple in their fridge as a higher power.

YOU may see religion of fairytales, hey, guess what, not everyone is going to think the same as you.

I understand what you say, I would personaly like to be a part of some religious organisation, but for me that is a false sence of comfort, because I have no proof of it. But I think that people should rethink what they belive in, because they may be spending time, money and many other things for nothing. But, anyway, everybody is free to do what it wants, and it's not linked to me, but I still think people should rethink.

The key aspect is that it's YOUR belief that it's not providing a sense of comfort. It's not up to you to say, "Rethink it. Now." (I realize you aren't say that...you is a general 'you', understand? Or do I need to reword? If I sound offensive, I apologize, that's not my intent.)

Your argument could be flipped. You may not be spending money on your 'non-belief', but you're spending time on it, whether you think you are or not. (Aruing it, so on and so forth, that's spending time on it.) What if you're the one wasting your time?
