I like it a lot, except my computer randomly Blue screens.
I think what I like best is the look of it, really slick.
But there are no games for it yet.
And the security is to tight for my taste.

But they are coming out with an update of it. Free to download here pretty shortly. Or so I have heard.

I have a bit of information that you might be interested in. Accoridng to a tech site that has been around for the longest time, back when Windows XP was first introduced apparently it had a whole lot more issues than Vista has had since it was first sold. But from what I can tell things are getting better, especially with the next SP right around the corner. I tried the BETA of the SP, but decided to uninstall it quickly after.

I personally use Windows Vista Ultimate, and I really can't go back on it. There is going to be a lot of adjustments, but I have gotten used to it so far. It can be a bit resource hungry, so make sure your hardware specs are decent for it. It can't make full use of 4GB worth of RAM though, unless you use 64-bit OS. And a lot of it seems like eye candy, which you can get used to as well.

I used to have issues back when I first got it as part of my new computer, but it seems alright now.

I believe it's DirectX10, and soon there will be DirectX10c (I think).
One big change is the User Access Control (UAC). You can turn it off (not recommended), but when turned on it asks for permission for everything that needs administrative rights. This can prevent people from installing things onto your computer without an administrator account. Although this can become incredibly annoying as well. Some you might have to right click and run under administrator otherwise when you are using the program you might realise it can't do something important.

I have Vista.  It took time to get used to it.  I'm still learning new features on it.  It tends to have a mind of its own, but once again it's Microsoft.

I had no choice in getting Vista, had I had the choice I would have kept XP a bit longer.

I don't have much of a problem with it, its much like Windows XP, except prettier, somewhat easier to configure and greedier on system resources. The UAC stuff is not much of a problem to me, Fedora does the same thing when I go to do something that needs root access, except it asks me to enter my password instead of offering a "Yes" or "No" choice.

I mainly use Windows Vista for games and buying stuff on iTunes, though, as those are the main things that I have that won't run on Fedora, and it works reasonably well for those, I think I am taking a slight hit in framerate on games, though, but nothing big enough to bother doing anything about.

I like Vista, after changing plenty of the defaults.  Turned off UAC, turned off excess windows security programs and installed my own.  Got rid of IE, and put on firefox and opera.  Now, it's running great.  For the little I use it, my primary OS is Ubuntu, but probably switching to LinuxMint soon.

I use multiple security programs that I like.  For anti-virus, I use Avast.  It works excellently, it's caught everything on my computer.  Then for spyware, I use Spybot Search&Destroy, as well as Ad-Aware.  These are all freeware programs, and are very comprehensive.

I like Vista. I like WMP, and the start menu and the 3D icons; though it took me a while to get used to those. ^.^

It looks sexy. x]
