I don't think I can possibly word this as well as Jon did, but Kate, gimme a break, Ryan's the shallowest, stupidest, most annoying guy I've ever known. You're too good for him... every girl he'll ever like and every girl he'll ever get (there won't be many) will realize the same thing. He'll get passed around, everyone being too afraid to recycle him and too afraid to throw him out. I know you want what he doesn't want, but try your best to be friends with him.
