I was supposed to get my period TWO WEEKS AGO but I still haven't, and I have no idea why. I'm on birth control, but I screwed up taking it the last month so I have to wait until my period starts again in order to take it again. Do you think that me messing up taking the pills has something to do with this? I've tried looking online for an answer but I haven't found anything. Otherwise I may be calling my doctor if I don't get it within the next week. Also, I haven't had sex so me being pregnant isn't even a possibility.

Hmm... one thing comes to mind.  How long have you been on the pills?  Some people have a bit of time after stopping pills before they start their period again.  For some, it can be a few weeks, for others it could be months.  If you've been taking your pills for a while, your body could just be adjusting back to making it's own hormones.

So if you know you aren't pregnant, it might just be that :).  But you could always ask your doctor just to be sure, right?

I think it's because you did screw with your pills...

Yes, there is a fair chance that is what happened. I messed up on birth control a few months ago and had my period for about 15 or so days.

as long as there is no chance that you're pregnant then there's no reason to worry (if there is a chance- take a test so you aren't worried haha)
What exactly happened with your birth control pills? Did you miss a few pills and then stop taking them all together and are waiting until your next period to start again? (this is what I got from the post, correct me if I'm wrong).
if that's the case it's not surprising that your cycle is messed up- if you are going to be sexually active again and want to go back on the pill there shouldn't be anything wrong with starting back up whenever you want to (obviously check with your doctor/health care professional etc) although it will take 7 days of active pills until you are protected against pregnancy and you could experience spotting throughout your first month or so.
Expect weird thing with your cycle for a month or so until your body is back on a pattern. good luck!
