I love Pages, and Word 2008 has been annoying the fuck out of me. I wrote a 9000 word chemistry coursework on it, and some small things annoyed me so much. I can't use pages, our school has no student accessible Macs, not that they'd have iWork on it anyway.
I'd prefer Pages though because it's so much nicer and easier to use. However I use Word more because of school limitations. I don't really use OpenOffice or NeoOffice, it's just too slow on my old G4 Mac Mini.
