Now PS3 is down to $399.99 and I've heard so much about the 360 and its Ring of Death that I don't want to take a chance with that hunk of plastic.

So has there been many problems with the PS3? All the word of mouth going around has shadowed the PS3 badly. Anytime games are talked about all I ever hear is 360 and I want to be different and have something that won't break down at any given time.

Well I think I'm going to go with the Playstation 3 as it seems less common and its doubted to much. I'm pretty sure Sony would not spend millions of dollars and not get enough games for the system. that would be dumb.

Also lets think about this for a moment. The first game system that Microsoft ever built was Xbox so this is only their second time around. Sony has been around for much longer time then they have.

With the newest hardware, it's been improved upon greatly. Microsoft has also extended warranty's for the ring of death.

You know the warranty's are nice and all but honestly I don't want to wait between 2months to a freaking year to get my 360 back just because the dumbasses can't insure that it will never get a ring of death.

For example, personally I am an avid follower of Nintendo's biggest franchises (Mario, Metroid, Zelda and Smash Bros), so I'm going with Wii.

My brother, on the other hand, loves FPS, so he's gotten a 360.

Of the 3 consoles, the PS3 is the one I know least about, so I can't advise you much more on it.

-Expensive, or atleast was alot higher then the 306
-little game support right now, but next year many many more titles will be available

360 Pros
-Xbox Live
-Big Names Titles only for 360 (halo, gears and such)
-Reasonably priced now
-Rumble Feature
-easy connect ability to your PC if you have Media Center
360 Cons
-Red Ring Of Death
-Reaching the peak of its Graphical Performance (PS3 has barely touched the surface of its graphics)
-Large external Power Brick that over heats easily
-Loud Fans and Small Hard Drives, must be a special Hard Drive (PS3 give you the ability to buy a 160 gig labtop hard drive, swap it in, and format it to work with the PS3. No buying Sony Only hard drives!)
-Pay Per Month online Gaming
-Losing some of the bigger name title to PS3 (Metal Gear, UT, GT, ect...)
-Poor Media Connectivity, no card readers
-No internet Browser
-Can be none user friendly

This is my opinion because i own both a 360 and PS3. I run them both on my 1080I 32 inch Wide Screen LCD HDTV. Owning both of them i can tell you the PS3 is the clear winner in my mind. I love all the features, the Colors, the out of this world graphics, the ease of use. The PS3 is just a better system that we have barely touched the surface of in terms of games and graphical superiority.
