So this is what is happening: my iPod video just randomly shuts off when i am listening to music, the screen is partially frozen. I have tried reseting and returing the ipod to its factory settings. any other suggestions?? Should i just get a new iPod?

turn it off and charge it for a day and if that doesn't work take it in to your local apple store.

if you flick the hold button on and off a few times and then the play button a few times, that sometimes works...did for me...

Turn it off. That always happens to me. Just reset, and carry on listening.

I've found you shouldn't sift through tracks with it on play. Pause, and shift through tracks, or wait a few seconds after each track has begun. Don't just go through 20, it'll get stuck.

:) Hope that helps.

Technology knows how to take the piss.

Leave the battery to run out then charge it again.
