Urmmm mac i hate mac!!! Only cause i cant use it lol ;) :D
Ha, macs can't be used period, there isn't much learning to them. They are very "simple" and great when it comes to graphix (spelled correctly in this case). But if you want to speed it up, manipulate it, or try to tinker one little bit with it, it will crash and never work again. Yes, another CLI user is born. Welcome to the Linux ;)
That's not at all true. I have a G4 with both the CPU and Bus overclocked. I should also mention that all my internal peripherals are third-party, from my Samsung CDRW/DVD drive, to my 50 pin SCSI 5.2 Gig Magneto-Optical drive. Running Mac OS X (which is Unix-Based, running on a Mach revision Net BSD kernel), I have had no crashes or freezes in over a year.

Yes Iron Hawk, I'm aware that some have overclocked macs, and the G4 and G5 are a lot closer to a PC than most macs have been, but not many actually do overclock macs. I have heard of loss of stability with most, but it depends on how you do it, and to what extreme you are going to.

Computer 1: PowerMac 8600/300 running OS 9.2.2, with 300mhz processor, 512mb of ram and a 20gb hd, plus the video ram is upgraded to maximum capacity, and there is a USB card in it.Computer: G5 running OS X 10.3.2 Panther with 1gb of ram, 1.6 Ghz G5 Processor, GeForce FX 5200 Ultra, 160GB hd. Windows has more 'holes' than a mesh vest, and Linux aint really ready for the desktop yet, IMO.
Well, rock on! I still have an old Umax S900 ( an old mac clone ) sitting in my garage. A year ago, it had a 800mhz G4 upgrade, a combo drive, DVD RAM drive, around 700mb of RAM, a USB/Firwire card, an ATI Radeon Mac Edition graphics card, and three hard drives. I love the old Powermac clones.
