Just recently, my mom restarted the computer at her job and the computer is saying the NTLDR will not boot, press any button to continue.. and then she does and it says the same thing again.
Help please. What the hell happened and how do we fix it?

OO.. Sorry to say but that isn't going to be fixable. It probably happened from your manually turning off your computer (holding down the off button on it for 5 seconds). Although it's okay to do that, it can mess with it sometimes (if your computer is frozen/crashed then by all means manually turn it off, but otherwise don't do it). You'll need to reformat your hard drive (wipe the entire hard drive), reinstall windows xp/2000/etc., and then resinstall everything else. I'm sorry, it's a pain in the ass, I know. You may be able to take it to a computer store and they may be able to possibly salvage the data on it.

lol u dont need to resort to reformat as the first solution..
Do you have your winxpcd?
try to run chkdsk from the recovery console if so not try to run a "repair" on the os.
