I've looked everywhere for help but can't get this to work so please help!

What I want - when you mouseover a flower (symbol) a butterfly flies out (i have animated the butterfly along a motion guide and saved it as a movieclip)

In the button state, i have 2 layers:
layer1 = flower symbol is unchanged
layer2 = the movieclip for the butterfly is inserted into the Over state.

when i play the scene, mousing over causes the butterfly to APPEAR but it does not PLAY (it does not move/animate)

hellllp?
