I think maybe I'm missing something. You guys know any good ways to search for jobs? Every place I can think of just tells me to go to their website to apply, but I never hear anything back. Beginning to feel like online job hunting is just a waste of time. But online is the only way. Any tips are appreciated?

No going in to fill out the hard copy applications is the same way. Bottom line the unemployment rate hasn't been this high since 1986... real talk.

I personally, seem to have more trouble finding one that way anyway. I prefer applications on paper to online apps.
Try the local paper (if it's online, might work better for you to look for jobs there). If you're a college student, try your school's job postings online or visit the career services office. Outside of that, just go around to businesses and ask them if they're hiring soon or now, and if so, ask for an app. You can also ask around and try to find out who's hiring at the moment.

Print a bunch of CVs and cover letters and give them to every shop you want to work in. If they don't have any current job vacancies they can always keep your details on file.
Ask everywhere you can think of. Look in the local paper. Sometimes the internet can be good though, so try all three methods.
