Who the fuck thinks Rock is 'white people's music' or The Office and The OC as 'white people's shows'?
My family and every black person that I know
they sort of are, seeing as how there are very few black rock musicians, and shows like the office have like, one black character
So? Few black characters doesn't mean the show or music is aimed at white people or only white people are supposed to be appreciating them. That's fucking stupid.
It kind of is when that black person in the show is depicted as "the black guy"
iI disagree. The role of the black character is irrelevant. It doesn't even matter whether or not there was a black character in the show or not.
A show is a show, and can be watched by whatever person. If they like it they watch it. It's idiotic to think that it is only for white people because of the colour of the cast's skin.

Someone will be talking about a band or something like that, and I'll just jump in the conversation, and they're like, "Wait....how do you know about them?"
Because I obviously listen to them just like you do. This is a big deal because?

Actually, it is your fault for being so culturally uneducated that you'd attempt to name a show from that timeframe instead of naming a show that is either on today, or went off the air not too long ago.
