Nothing hurts more then having the "ONLY" person you ever truely cared about and truely felt love for. Tell you they regret ever meeting you or say they regret most of the special times they ever had with you. I had it happen to me before over the past few years with the same person. Makes you feel like your life is worthless at this point.
