due to an accident at work that wasn't really my fault i had to get three stitches near the corner of my eye. now whenever i smile it feels stiff and it's been almost a month. my face feels stiff too. will there be permanent lost mobility in my face do you think as a result of this accident?

I wouldn't worry about it if its only been a month. If it was bad enough for you have to get stitches it's going to take awhile for it to heal. Try using a lotion with shea butter and/or one of the scar creams (mederma?) to soften the scar and make it less noticable. I have a really bad burn scar on my arm and it took a couple of months for me to be able to bend my arm normally because of the scar. Shea butter helps a lot.
