i had a miscarriage 2 months ago and started taking birth control soon after.
Me and my boyfreind had sex without a condom a few times 2 weeks ago but scince i had been on the pill for about a moth and a half or so we thought it was fine. He even pulled out or tried anyway.
well i didnt think anything of it but my period was supposed to start like...in the next few days like 2-3 at the most after the day we had sex. Well it didnt start and about 3 days ago i started peeing like crazy and having all the same symptoms of pregnancy sore boobs, nausea, headaches and of course the missed period. So i started worrying and thinking i was preg. Well i know when my period starts it happens when i get up and its really heavy. Well about 2 today i got a very small amount of blood but it was really dark in color and its a lot less than what i usually get. Could i be preg? Someone suggested its implantation but i took a test and i twas negative. although i know its probably way too soon to take one but i though it'd give it a shot you know. so now im confused. i mean im not bleeding anymore idk what to think so what do you?!

The blood is probably spotting from taking the pill for a month and a half.

You have to come off the pill to have a period, you haven't missed it, just delayed it.

Come off the pill for a week.

Have you had your period since you started taking birth control.  Birth control changes your period, will change when you expect to get it, and it will get MUCH lighter.  I started birth control about 7 months ago, and before, my period used to start on a Wednesday.  Now it starts on Friday's... lol.

In terms of the actual bleeding, your normal PMS symptoms will change as well.  It will be much lighter, and it's just a matter of getting used to the change.  You've only been on it for a few months.  You may have experienced something called breakthrough bleeding, which is slight bleeding during 'active pills' (this is normal when you first start).

So it's quite possible it's just that :).  But you can always take another test later.  Birth control doesn't harm the child in anyway, so there's no need to worry about it :).

It probably was just from the pill  but you could be under a lot of stress that's doing this to you I've had three miscarriages but you should have waited 3 weeks when I was pregnant I took a test too soon and it gave me a incorrect negative when I was pregnant so you could still be pregnant but you may miscarry being that your blood was dark

Personally, I'd be convinced I was. But I would not worry about or try not to think about it for a while. In another 2 weeks try again. BTW, I'm sorry for your miscarriage.

The pill can make the first few months of periods out of wack. They can be lighter, heavier, and it also isn't totally uncommon not to have on at all for one of the first few months. Go see a doctor if you are very worried.
