so that's a cool topic and all, but I think you should do it on how we think it's all about us but we then use all of that self-affirming technology to recreate ourselves as absolute conformists. i.e. we've all got the same music on our ipods, people spend tons of time re-doing one another's youtube videos trying to recreate themselves as the media pieces they spend all their time watching, everyone wants the same starbucks drink and wants every starbucks to look, smell, and sound the same no matter where they walk into it. Just sayin, I feel like the element of totalitarian conformity needs to be addressed in this subject.
