2x^2 - 9x + 4 lmao i haven't factored in hella long but aight. here's how i'd go about doing it.
you know it'll be
(2x )(x )
because that's the only way to get 2x^2
and that the two blanks will have to be factores of 4. that leaves 1, 2, and 4. They'll also have to multiply to a positive number (4), which means theyl'l either both be negative or both be positive.
you know that the right blank multiplied by 2, times the left blank [multiplied by 1] will have to = -9
so it's (2x - 1)(x - 4) because that's the only combination that meets the above requirements.
