$100 really is cheap. I know that when a human (at least in the US) goes to the doctor, even with insurance it's generally more than that, ESPECIALLY if something is wrong.

Yeah, for the US that makes sense. But here I go to a doctor (or even a dentist) and I barely pay anything. It doesn't damage my finances. But when my cat, that's like 10 times smaller than I am, needs a bunch of meds that are only sold in the US (that I have to buy for a price that makes me want to yell out "HIGHWAY ROBBERY!") its just ugh. ugh. well, I guess I brought it on myself.
Perhaps that's because you don't pay for insurance for your pets? My mom has both of our dogs insured.

I do, it's just the cheap one that doesn't cover what he has. It's more for like accidents and horrible illnesses and junk. I can't pay $40/month for pet insurance that covers even examinations. Wish I could. 4est, but my cat is cuuuuute! :D
