ok so its my senior year and ive had a crush on this guy my whole high school career. and so this year i really really want to date him. but im horribly shy. and i cant just ask if he wants to go hang out cuz we arent that close...if that make sense.

so can anyone give me ideas or tips on how to get his attention so we can hang out more and get to know each other better so maybe something can happen

Why don't you start hanging out with him and his group of friends when you can at school during the day, and if he asks, then just tell him that you needed a "change of environment" or something, slowly get to know him, and then maybe something can happen
