I need a store surveillance camera system to watch the front counter.

I'm looking for a video surveillance system that is around 250.  One camera is fine.  I need a receiver for feedback to go with it.  Maybe dvd? or something like that to hold the information.

I've tried google and nothing is coming up.

Any help would be appreciated.

The counter is maybe  6 feet from the wall.  And lighting is very good.  If that helps any.  Night vision is optional.

Basic computer webcams can be hooked up so that they can be viewed as a live stream over a computer network.  For recording purposes, a hard drive would probably be the best option, as the recorded video shouldn't take up too much space if the resolution is relatively low.
