My dad and papa had cancer.
They got it caught early, though, and had it removed.

Be there for them. Make them laugh. Make them smile.

I can't say that I have but I can give you advice. The best thing for you to do is to stick by your best friend's side and keep hope alive. Its okay to be sad about this and feel like its too much, if you're feeling that way imagine how your best friend feels. When they're sad, help cheer them up. Don't feel like they're going to die either, don't even come to that assumption. Many people live a happy, strong, and wonderful life. They don't let it get them down. Tell you're friend that you're going to be through everything with them and if they need any help you'll be there for them because that's all you can do.

If you can, go to appointments with them. Do anything you can.  With hope, your friend will be strong and well. Don't let this get to you and you tell them the same.

Good Luck. :)
