Damn, my boyfriend asked my mom how long we had till we had to move(because my parents lost the house...) and she said she didn't know and started telling him everything (some...even a lot actually was even news to me...).

It's just SOOOO bad right now.  We just need a fresh start.  HOPEFULLY, it'll come soon...hopefully.

So I knew my family's financial situation was bad, but I didn't realize it was THIS FUCKED UP!!! Really, being screwed over by lawyers, mortgage companies, insurance, bankruptcy plans, the house repair costs, no fucking financial aid for things like books costs, or reduced lunches even at school(because my parents "make too much"....bull shit, just because they make a certain wage doesn't mean they have money...).

I can relate, my girlfriend is having these kind of problems. they lost their house, and they're going to live in a hotel, but everything should be okay after this, because they're getting on their feet. we're seaping into a supression.

Wow, except for being a chick with a boyfriend, that is like, exactly my situation. Except we have only one income (single parent household). I feel your pain. I can't give any words of comfort, except get the fuck out of there when you are 18. You will live better, your mom will live better, and you might be able to aspire to better.

The best thing to do in the situation is to COPE with the whole thing. Thinking and acting negatively about the whole situation will just make the whole thing harder for you and your family.

You said you're going to start fresh, right? Well I am going to have to start fresh too, I am going to have to start at a new school in a month, but hey, look at the bright side, THERE IS ALWAYS NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO ENCOUNTER.

In the near future, I'm going to be straight up honest with you, YOU WILL FEEL PAIN, YOU WILL HURT FROM IT, but in the end, I'm sure every single little thing will turn out O-K.

Well, I am 18, but I am moving out, which is a good thing, it'll help with grocery costs and such...The bad part is (and this is where the financial aid part really pissed me off) I'm going to college, and my parents are bound and determined to help me out.  They are the type that will do anything to help their kids (which is actually part of the reason they're in this mess).  And since I'm the first of their kids to go to college (the 2 before me didn't), they're even more wanting to help....
