i can' hold 25....and i usually let it got to about 500 before i empty it. or let it get automatically deleted.

Mine is always like 300% full and I just let it delete itself. Sometimes if they're important or something I store them.

Usually it's the same with me. I don't see the point in cleaning it out unless Livewire is being buggy, like the thing with new messages appearing in the middle of the inbox.
