Am I doomed for life into the addiction of bulimia?
Everything I read/see online shows girls that are "still battling", or relapsed or etc. I never see people who have overcome it.
Will I ever get better!?!?!

I've been bulimic (haven't purged in like, a month though?) and I feel like even though I can stop when I need to, it'll always be a last resort for me. Once you've gone that far, I think its a lot easier to fall back on it.

But I think if you try hard enough, and deal with the underlying issues that are causing it, you can definitely deal with it. Good luck.

In my opinion, 'kicking' eating disorders is the same as drugs. You will always be a bulimic, anorexic, alcoholic... you just aren't an 'active' one, if that makes sense. The disease does not go away, you just need to be strong enough to stop succuming to it.

It is different for every person with an ED.
One friend of mine nearly died before she was hospitalised and got help and 4 years on she is fine and has not had any more problem.
I have good days and bad days and I'm still "battleing" mine.
Others never recover and can never come through the mist.
