OMG HES GONNA DIE!!
Sensitive, Looter, sensitive!
But yea, it doesn't sound good. They do not live long. If he's picked up a virus the problem could be anything. His kidneys could be shutting down, liver, heart...who knows. I presume he's been not eating or mayb not drinking for a few days too? Has his stool (poop) been unusual, or not there at all?
If he is dying there isn't much you can realistically do but let him go as comfortably as possible. Keep him in a warm and clean place with water available. WHen you can hold him as much as you can away from loud noise andin a moderate temperature room (avoiding drafts and air conditioning. AC in the house whoudl be OK if it's not too cold but keep him away from drafts and sudden temeprature changes). It's possible he may recover but it doesn't sound to hopeful IMO. THe little gaffer has a tiny body and so a virus or other illness will tend to hit hard and fast. BTW if you are concerend about you getting a virus from him, trans-species viruses are very rare. If you ahven't caught anything before now, what he's got, you won't get. Jsut keep the usual hand washing and clean cage protocol you ahve been until now.
