Do you see yourself in rehab or a mental hospital for your 'problems' in the future'.... That's kindof all I see at the moment. (I'm a self- harmer, diagnosed bulimic with anorexic tendencies, and have beem diagnosed with having borderline personality disorder). My doctor (before I stopped going to therapy) said that I am highly likely to develop a more serious mental illness later in life (compared to 'healthy' people) and that doesn't even scare me.... I can't see myself growing older or getting better. I don't want to recover, I don't want to get better because, without all my 'illnesses' what am I? I don't want to go on meds and lose myself... but I don't want to go back into therapy and find myself either.
I'm resigned to the fact that, most likely, before I turn 20, I will be properly hospitalised. (I came very close to it in november but they thought it would do more harm than good to take me out of school).
Does anyone else feel this way? I know it's stupid.

I was really close to being hospitalized in May, because of some things I told my teacher and school social worker.

But if it continues like this, I can see that happening in the next two years.

(I self harm by the way.)

i'm starting to realise i have problems with alcohol.

My BF's even told me to get help.
But i cant see myself going to any groups, cos i'd be too ashamed i guess :/

Granted I don't believe that I will ever recover fully from this monster, a lot of kind people in the medical field have helped me learn to cope with it.

Personally, I don't see myself in rehab or taking pills.
I'd rather deal with my disorder as I am dealing with it now.

However, I don't even see myself making it past high school.

I don't do those things but wanted to read the topic.  I understand how you may used to how things are.  There is hope to get over these things.  Don't be used to things not being so good.  If you stop it can help you do great things in life, even more than you could now.

I apologies, but saying that rehab is fucking useless defies the views of a lot of people. If you were to say, rehab didn't work for me, or i've never been....
