Excuses for cuts and scars

so yeah...i cut... and i usually do it on my left wrist.  I have a bunch of scars and they are in perfect lines one after another so i mean its pretty obvious I didnt fall and that the cat or dog didnt scratch it---especially since some are scars and others are cuts. Does anyone have any excuses for them? When a random person I dont really know  asks what happened I like to say something crazy like I was jumping on my bed when a spring popped out and scratched me right on the arm! grrrr...stupid bed! Bad bed, bad! But my friends are starting to notice and Im just not ready to tell them yet.

I always wore a jacket, and friends began to get suspicious and started asking questions. They said it wasn't normal wearing a jacket in 90 degree weather. But I trusted them enough to tell them that I cut.

But when other people asked, I blamed the cat, which they believed, because my cat is a bitch.

Eh.. My mom believed that I fell down my driveway; even though you could totally tell otherwise... But she's totally clueless, I suppose.
Just come up with something that sounds like it could have possibly have happened and don't let them question it.

why would you do it on your wrist where you know people are likely to see it :S

Maybe i'm wong, but if it was a serious problem, you'd be morelikely to do it in a hidden place??? I used to do it but i wouldnt dare do it on my wrists, cos i didnt want the attention.

Well my excuse is usually work related. I often come home with cuts, scratches and bruises anyway so If there is the off chance that they do get spotted I use that excuse.
If I do it really badly then I just...try and be extra careful that no one see's.

Should really stop though...as should I.

I dont do it for attention. My wrist isnt the only place i do it but its the only place that people would notice. Cutting for attention is just stupid. If i cut for attention i really dont think i would be afraid to tell people.  I change the way i do many things so that people WONT notice but whatever if thats what you think i really cant do anything about it.
