okay, ive never had period sex. and i honestly dont plan to unless the horniness becomes too overwhelming..(small joke).
so i really am just curious, does this hurt/change anything about the sex (not including the blood being there part) but i mean is there anything different about period sex, or is it totally okay if your guy is up for it (not saying mine is) just for future reference, i like to know

I've had it once, but my flow was extremely light that day. We ended up doing it in the shower to prevent any mess that could happen. It didn't feel any different to me.

that sounds like a better idea then taking a chance of blood spots all over your bedding, The only downside i would really see with shower sex, or any sort of water involved sex, is forcing water into your vagina to where it irriates it. But I suppose just be careful and you should most likely be fine.

The only thing that's different is that I'm more sensitive.  Often times it feels MUCH better, and my breasts are also more sensitive too.  From my boyfriend's end, as gross as it sounds, it's good lube.

In terms of the mess, you just do it when you're at the beginning or the end so it's lighter, and you can either do it in the shower, or do it with plastic bags underneath you.  Just make sure you clean both of you up afterwards...

I've hear (from a reliable source) that the chance of pregnancy is close to 0 while the girl is on her period. However, proper protections should still be used to protect from STDs. Remember cold water for blood stains so the blood cells don't break releasing the iron they contains. ;D

It feels different, but better, for me. It's makes me more sensitive to everything.

Period sex is the safest non birthcontrol sex you can have. And yeah, a guy could freak about a little blood, but honestly I never minded.

The chances of pregnancy are the same, whether you're on your period, or not. What you're stating is an old wive's tale.

Blood is blood, heavy or light. Period sex is no different than regular sex.

My boyfriend likes the blood, he says it's like he's stabbing me with his dick. He's a bit odd ;-). And yeah, it's great lube.
