I'm split. I'm against the idea of an election, as I can predict one moderator who may get it who I would not be in the slightest bit happy with, but I like the idea of such a role. 
I think the mods should appoint him/her. Like the house of lords choosing the PM or whatev.
You have no idea how we elect our PM do you 
not really no. Only the elements that our system is loosely based on. I was gonna say the way the president used to be elected, but I didnt know if you would know that.
