yeah they had a conference at my school last year. The FBI was all over the place. Their cause isn't my cause, but they get a much worse rap than they deserve.

They get the reputation they have earned. Their president came out in the public eye and said that there is nothing wrong with blowing buildings up to prove your point.

Maybe I'm just missing their finer points though.

think about the property damage thing- you'd rather people kill 10 puppies, say, than blow up a building and lose the worth of whatever the building costs, assuming it's not insured. so that means you put a price on those animal's lives. that means you think that they're worth a certain amount of money, which means you consider them to be possessions. Something you should realize is that you have a much different perspective than me, of people of the ALF. they don't put a price on life, human or otherwise. Consider also many sects of buddhist monks, who will take the greatest of care erecting buildings to ensure that they do not kill small animals who might live in the ground.
